The reservoir should be on the driver side near the brake fluid reservoir. Yes, you can definitely add fluid. If it's still impossible to find, a Chilton's or Hayne's manual only cost about $16.

Jchelm1979, What about the idea of milling a V-12 based on a Chevy 502? The rods, bearings, etc could all fit in stock form. You would naturally have to get a billet cam, and crank, but otherwise, you could use the “stock” parts that are available in quantity. Just a thought. You could sell this to airplane builders, and it would have the right V-12 sound….Don
